Sky Ark is the oldest currently running nonprofit organization providing the venue to give air transportation  and airlift services to IRS approved rescue groups, zoos and sanctuaries needing to transport pets or animals over long distances in the United States. We also provide transports during disasters and desperate crisis situations to the animal and humanitarian community. Sky Ark is an animal/wildlife and humanitarian organization that excels in arranging and providing transportation and support. 

Unlike other groups that use private aircraft that in most cases do not meet goverment standards for transporting animals and their pilots are not trained to handle animals to USDA standards. All our aircraft and pilots are trained to handle animals to these standards.

Here is a unique chance for you to not o­nly build multi engine flight time, but to help save animals and to help people. Any rating- or career-oriented person knows the pressure and difficulty involved in trying to build flight time. If you are just getting started, or if you have agonized over building time, Sky Ark can provide you with a fun way to achieve your goals. Of course, there are also pilots who only want to fly and have no desire to work for an airline but just want to help. 

Cost: $45 hour plus fuel.
